Dermaplaning Training

Dermaplaning is a safe and highly effective physical exfoliation procedure. It requires the use of a sterile, surgical scalpel to gently ‘shave’ the skin’s surface, removing the top-most layer of dead skin along with fine vellus hair (aka peach fuzz).

Dermaplaning Training Course at School of Aesthetic A.R.T

We provide Dermaplaning training course in our training centre based in Billericay, Essex.

Our Dermaplaning training is a Level 4 course. We believe that a practitioner needs to have profound understanding of general skin rejuvenation and the knowledge of skin before proceeding to this practical course. This course is independently accredited. It is therefore recognised by most insurance companies.

The aim of the course is to enable practitioners to utilise Dermaplaning for his/her clients and deliver a personalised approach.

Area of Study Include:

  • Introduction to Dermaplaning

  • Hygiene, Health and Safety

  • Relevant Legislation and Industry Standard

  • Carry out successful consultation and analyse the clients’ needs as well as suitability for treatment

  • Skin types, skin analysis and skin diseases

4. Approach of Treating

  • Setting up for treatment

  • Treatment protocol

  • Contraindications

  • Combine Dermaplaning with other skin treatments
