The purpose of this course is to provide an overview of Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) treatment as well as its application in aesthetic practice. This including Skin Rejuvenation and Hair Loss. Depends on your current professional level and background, different delivery method will be introduced.
Successful completion of training enable practitioners to deliver:
-
Platelet Rich Plasma Treatment with Skin Microneedling
-
Platelet Rich Plasma Treatment with Mesotherapy (for advanced trainees and practitioners with a medical background)
What Level Will You Achieve?
According to the HEE (Health Education England) Guideline, Platelet Rich Plasma is one of the orphan treatments which hasn’t been assigned to a specific Level. The main reason is due to the nature of this procedure: there are many different ways to introduce PRP back into the skin for aesthetic purposes.

-
Using ≤0.5mm micro-needling manual device, this would be a Level 4 procedure
-
Using 0.5-1mm micro-needling manual device, this would be a Level 5 procedure
-
Using 1.5mm micro-needling with manual device, 1.00mm powered assisted micro-needling, 1.4mm micro-needling for none facial areas, this would be a Level 6 procedure
-
Using Mesotherapy, this would be a Level 6 procedure

Therefore, the level you will achieve after our Platelet Rich Plasma training course really depends on your highest skin rejuvenation skill level. If you are a therapist trained to Level 5, successful completion of training will enable you to deliver Platelet Rich Plasma treatment with ≤1mm micro-needling manual device. If you are a medical practitioner, Mesotherapy injecting techniques will be included in your training. As a result, you will be able to deliver the variety of treatments.
