CIBTAC Level 3 Diploma in Facial Applications
This is a comprehensive facial and skincare course that gives you all the fundamental knowledge of facial skincare as well as the practical skill of providing facial treatments, including electrotherapy and microdermabrasion. This diploma is made up from 6 mandatory units:
Follow health and safety practice in the salon
Promote and sell product and services to clients
Provide facial skincare
Provide facial electrotherapy treatments
Apply micro-dermabrasion
Physiology of ageing

This course covers all of the practical applications and required underpinning knowledge of microdermabrasion procedures, to enable you to provide a bespoke facial treatment with effective product selection to achieve an increase in cellular renewal, improved skin texture, reduction of fine lines, reduction of acne scarring, reduction in sun damage, increased absorption of skincare products and a visible improvement in stretch mark scarring. The Level 3 Diploma provides Learners with the knowledge and skills to carry out the recognised beauty treatments in today’s market. You will be able to:
Gain the necessary knowledge and skills for work as a beauty therapist
Provide commercial skills in facial skincare, facial electrotherapy, and microdermabrasion treatments
Make informed and confident decisions relating to clients’ needs and requirements

Entry requirements- Level 2 Beauty Qualification that includes facial skincare.
