CIBTAC Level 2 Award in Facial Skincare

This qualification is aimed at preparing learners to enter the beauty therapy sector as a beauty therapist. The units within this qualification have been mapped to the National Occupational Standards and relate specifically to the job role. The aim of the CIBTAC Level 2 Award in Facial Skincare is to provide Learners with the necessary basic knowledge and skills to base their skin treatments on and as a starting block for further study within the specialised area of facial therapy. 

Career pathway 

This is an ideal course for any therapist who wishes to add more scope to professional qualifications or as an introduction to the required practical skills for anyone wishing to pursue a career in the more specialised field of facial skincare therapy.

Areas Of Study 

The Level 2 Facial Skincare consists of both theory and practical learning units. Health and Safety is a key element of the course will support learners to understand the theory element of this and apply it in their facial skincare practically. In addition to the theory and practical training the learners will build a portfolio of case studies to demonstrate their competency.
