Hyperhidrosis CPD

The Hyperhidrosis CPD course is a specialised training programme focused on the diagnosis and management of hyperhidrosis, a condition characterised by excessive sweating. This comprehensive course aims to enhance participants' knowledge and skills in effectively addressing hyperhidrosis through various treatment modalities.

During the course, participants will gain a thorough understanding of the pathophysiology, classification, and different types of hyperhidrosis. They will learn to differentiate between primary and secondary hyperhidrosis, as well as understand the underlying causes and contributing factors.

The Hyperhidrosis CPD will cover the  treatment options available for hyperhidrosis, including  botulinum toxin injections. Participants will learn about the mechanism of action, indications, contraindications, and potential side effects of these treatments.

The training will provide practical guidance on performing botulinum toxin injections for hyperhidrosis, including the appropriate injection sites, dosage, and technique. Participants will also learn about client selection, assessment, and the importance of managing client expectations.

The course will address potential complications and adverse events associated with hyperhidrosis treatments, as well as strategies for their prevention and management. Participants will gain insight into client care, aftercare instructions, and long-term treatment planning to ensure optimal outcomes.

By the end of the Hyperhidrosis CPD, participants will have acquired the necessary expertise to confidently assess and treat hyperhidrosis in their clinical practice. They will be equipped to offer treatment options, tailor treatment plans to individual client needs, and improve the quality of life for their clients affected by hyperhidrosis.
