The Award in Providing Pedicure Services enables Candidates to build the necessary practical and theoretical skills in order to provide basic pedicure treatments as well as developing the abilities for effective consultation and communication

.Whilst completing qualification the Candidate will also develop their abilities in working with others and problem solving, enabling Candidates to develop a range of skills, techniques, personal qualities and attitudes essential for successful performance in employment as a pedicurist.

The qualification consists of two mandatory units:

Following health and safety practice in the salon
Provide pedicure treatments

COURSE CONTENT

You will develop a range of practical pedicure skills, plus underpinning knowledge.

Your practical skills will initially be developed by working with fellow students and subsequently by working with a variety of models and clients.

Content will include:

Basis pedicure
Foot mask & exfoliation
Light & dark nail enamelling
French polish
Relevant anatomy & physiology input
Health & safety

The course will be delivered in a variety of formats which may include training workshops or seminars, e-learning, distance learning or self-study. The Level 2 Award has a total minimum number of 70 guided learning hours
