CIBTAC Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy Services
This diploma is a fast-track, internationally recognised qualification which opens up more opportunities, when compared to the national NVQ route offered by various colleges. The CIBTAC Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy Services will provide all of the skills required to enable the Learner to achieve a broad based knowledge and qualification to be utilised in the beauty industry.
Whilst working towards this qualification the Learner will also be provided an opportunity to develop wider skills in communication, Client care, retail and consultation.

This diploma is ideal for any candidate who wants to launch their beauty therapy career with competency. It allows the learner to develop their skills to provide a range of services in the beauty therapy industry, whilst becoming skilled in health and safety, client care and communication and gaining the confidence required to complete salon reception duties.

Areas Of Study
Mandatory and Optional Units
You are required to achieve 8 core mandatory units and at least one optional unit within this qualification.
The 8 mandatory units are:
Follow health and safety practice in the salon
Client care and communication within beauty related industries
salon reception duties
Provide facial skincare
Remove hair using waxing techniques
Provide manicure treatments
Provide pedicure treatments
Apply makeup
Optional units are as follows:
Provide eyelash and eyebrow treatments
Provide thermal auricular therapy
Our CIBTAC approved tutors will guide and support you through this rewarding qualification using a range of teaching styles, demonstrations and activities to engage and involve you as you study and learn. You will have access to an on-line learning pack that supports the face-to-face sessions with our tutors.
